Hi there, BiblioCoach Trish Weston

My name is Trish Weston. I like books. A lot. I especially like how they take you to amazing places, help you see the world differently, give you hope, help you understand the confusing bits of life, and, generally, do good stuff. I also like talking with people about what’s important in life and, generally, how to bring all the good stuff that matters to life.

I’ve spent a fair chunk of my life in conversation with folks about books and making positive life changes. I’ve organised book clubs for the last 10 years, have been a bookseller for over 20 years and a coach/psychologist for over 10 years. I trained as a life coach and have a Masters degree in psychology (with dissertation on coaching process).

In 2006, while drawing out the lessons and insights a client was gleaning from a book she was reading, I realised that books were the ideal spark for idea generation for coaching. I began using books to complement the coaching process with clients and my bibliocoaching journey began.
